Who doesn't love doughnuts? I know the thought of making homemade fried doughnuts can be intimidating, so I've been working on a recipe for baked doughnuts. After many attempts, I've finally perfected the recipe!
Before I post it, I have a question for you: What is/was your favorite doughnut? Leave an answer in the comments below and one lucky winner will get a mini-doughnut pan from me! (And don't worry about your favorite doughnut being gluten-free. We are talking about memories and, thankfully, they are always gluten-free!)
Neat, eh? Just imagine: You could make mini-gf doughnuts!
Contest ends 3/12/2010. One winner will be selected at random from the comments below. Good luck!
Boston Cream Pie (from Dunkin Donuts)!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your recipe - I'm always looking for baked donut recipes and so far haven't found one that makes a good donut (i.e. not too cakey and more donut like).

ReplyDeleteThere is a little bakeshop near my parents where they make the most AMAZING sourcream apple doughnut. Chunks of grannysmith apples, the tang of the sourcream, and a sweet/tart glaze poured over the top.
